Pre-law at Weber State University
We are here to help you become a lawyer! Weber State, like most universities, does not have a specific pre-law degree, and we suggest students major in something that interests them and that they can excel in. A student’s GPA and Law School Admission Test (LSAT) score are the primary factors for determining admission to law school. Other factors such as internships, work experience, volunteer hours, letters of recommendation and a personal statement matter as well, and we are here to guide you as you prepare and apply to law school.
Pre-law Association
The Pre-Law Association is a student-run organization that holds events about once a month to help students learn more about law school and network. Meetings vary between in person and virtual and times vary to accommodate members. Come join us to get resources, advice, connections, and occasionally food.
