The Utah Office of Energy Development (OED) is excited to announce their Fall 2024 Energy Pathways Internship

• Applications open on Monday, July 1, 2024. Energy Pathways interns are part of the State Energy Program (SEP) team, assisting in advancing energy initiatives throughout the state of Utah via education, collaboration, research, and outreach.
• This position offers compensation at $15 per hour, working 20 hours a week for 12 weeks. Hybrid-Telework options are available. 
• OED’s mission is to advance Utah’s energy and mineral economy to ensure affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy for Utahns in support of the Governor’s vision for energy in the state.
• A background in energy is not required. We are seeking individuals studying STEM, energy, environment, sustainability, urban planning, geography, or related fields. Soon-to-be and recent graduates (May 2022 - May 2025)
• Applications for the Fall internship will be open HERE throughout the month of July, with interviews conducted in August, internship will run from September to November.

licensed professional engineer; (x) company liaison with client for small projects; (xi)
preparation of probable construction cost estimates; (xii) company liaison with contractor for
small projects; (xiii) field inspections/observations; (xiv) preparation of field
inspection/observation reports; (xv) review of contractor shop drawings/submittals; (xvi)
preparation of project calculations using structural design software; (xvii) report preparation;
(xviii) coordination of drafting/design technicians; (xix) preparation of project specifications
and/or bid documents; (xx) plan checking;
