Welcome to the College of Applied Science and Technology Dean’s Page!

I hope you have taken the time to examine the programs that are available in our college. Biography

Dr. Hill received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Nebraska, his Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Wayne State University and his Doctor of Engineering degree from the University of Detroit. He worked as a project engineer for the Detroit Edison Company for four years and as a project engineer for Eaton Corporation for ten years.

He taught electrical engineering at Lawrence Technological University for three years and then taught electronics engineering technology for nine years at the University of Southern Colorado, where he also served as Department Chair of Engineering Technology for three years.

Dr. Hill has been Dean of the College of Applied Science and Technology and Professor of Electronics Engineering Technology at Weber State University since 1990. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a member of the American Society of Engineering Educators and a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Michigan and Colorado. He is the co-author of three patents.
