Certificates of Proficiency
A certificate of proficiency in a language allows you to validate intermediate competency in a language in both oral and written communication. This can give you advantages in job hunting as it provides employers with concrete evidence of your speaking and writing skills.
It also broadens business opportunities and enriches cultural and social understanding. To obtain a certificate in one of six languages, you will need to complete four semesters of that language in addition to six credit hours* at the 3000 level or higher.
