Women and Gender Studies at WSU
The Women and Gender Studies Program provides students the tools to think critically about women’s place in contemporary society.
Small classes allow you to develop academic, intellectual, and personal relationships with fellow students. Students collaborate on research and presentations —inspiring and supporting each other long after their classes end.
An active, student-focused faculty of women and men bring scholarship and research from their own academic disciplines: history, law, psychology, sociology, literature, and others.
If you want to build a broader foundation to create your own path and develop different perspectives; open your eyes to the issues, challenges and choices for women in all aspects of life; and develop a basis for enhanced communication, critical thinking, self-reflection and responsible decision-making —then the WSU Women & Gender Studies Program is for you!
