As a child having grown up in East LA, Carol Canales never thought she'd ever leave the bustling city. As a first generation child, she is on track to be the first to graduate from university. Now having moved to Ogden as an adult she is living out her dreams working at the Shepard Union Gallery and obtaining her bachelor's degree in Art.
