Technology and Innovation

We strongly encourage faculty to use university-approved applications such as Google, Microsoft Office, Canvas, Zoom, Kaltura, and Annoto to deliver online content. Unlike publisher content or other applications, university-approved applications are supported by WSU Online and IT, secure in protecting both students and institutional information as they go through Central Authentication System (CAS) requiring duo sign-in, and offer reliable service.

• The Inclusive Teaching Practices Toolkit is a set of free resources—including videos and downloadable planning guides—that can be immediately put to use to benefit both faculty and their students. These practices are tailored for online teaching but are also relevant to the physical classroom.

A multitude of resources are available in the Digital District to support faculty and staff.
