Meaningful meetings, promising partnerships, powerful projects

Beth Rhoades

In a world filled with in-person, online and hybrid meetings, getting together has to count. In this issue of The Spark, we’ll hear from an expert on meeting effectiveness about how to lead good meetings, regardless of format.

Next, you’ll hear about an amazing partnership between WSU and Hill Air Force Base to teach military spouses transferable tech skills they can carry across the country and world. In addition, those spouses are picking up people-centered skills and earning badges to show they know their stuff. We look forward to creating similar partnerships in the future.

Finally, we’ll share what WSU and a certified partner are doing to prepare folks to take an exam for Project Management Professional certification. The certification is often seen as the gold standard for demonstrating project management expertise in terms of people, processes and business considerations.

Whatever you’re working on, we hope your meetings are effective, your processes are perfect, and your partnerships are fruitful.
