Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts Teaching
Weber State produces some of the best theatre high school teachers in Utah. Our teachers receive a solid education in theatre that prepares them to teach the wide variety of classes they will encounter in their career.
Students learn best practices for teaching methods, theatre management and production to equip them to design lessons and curriculum to fit the needs of whatever theatre class they might teach. Our students receive practicum experience before student teaching to prepare them for the realities of classroom management. Additionally, students take a range of courses to prepare them to teach all areas of theatre, including:
- Acting
- Design
- Directing
- Playwriting
- Dramaturgy
