High Impact Educational Experiences (HIEEs)
HIEEs promote knowledge and skill development that is highly sought by employers and graduate programs.
Sustainability HIEE's
Completing the Sustainability activities identified as HIEEs will help you along your path in the Wildcat Advantage Program as well as helping you prepare for a future career.
Engagement
Get engaged with sustainability efforts at WSU. Participate in programs such as:
- Zero Waste Athletics (volunteer for at least 3 games)
- Resident Sustainability Leaders (must live in University housing)
- WSU’s Sustainable Club Leadership (Environmental Ambassadors, Food Recovery Network, Garden Club)
Green Badge Program
Learn more about a variety of sustainability topics and earn monthly badges by taking action, attending events, reading/watching educational material, volunteering, and more. *must earn at least 3 badges
Courses
Take a sustainability (SUS) designated course to gain the necessary skills and understanding to address the sustainability opportunities and challenges of today. SUS courses cover a variety of topics.
