  • student“I use the Computer Labs on campus several times a week, usually for video editing. Since my laptop isn't quite powerful or large enough to run Adobe Premiere well, the school computers are my go-to spot when I need to edit new footage. As a Film Studies major here at Weber State, there seems to be something that needs editing almost all the time!”

“I have found that getting involved at Weber State has helped me find friends, make memories and get the most out of my college experience. I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in many different things, but one of my favorite things I’ve been able to do is be an ambassador. As an ambassador, I get to give tours, visit high schools and recruit students to come to campus and become a Wildcat one day. The reason why I love being a Wildcat is because it’s close and personal environment to meet people and have fun.”

“I work as a graphic designer for the Computer Labs at Weber State. I get to design things such as screen savers, informational posters, social media posts, etc. My job is important to me because I get to work in a field where I can use my degree knowledge and it will help better prepare me for life after college. My job is also important for the students at Weber because of the information regarding the Computer Labs that I get to produce. Information about the Computer Labs may be unknown without marketing materials.”

"This year I was part of the WSUSA's President's Cabinet as a Promotional Specialist, facilitating in planning of the campus-wide events. I also had the opportunity to become a Resident Assistant for Housing. Both of these roles have been super important for me, because thanks to them I found the motivation to strive for better in my academic life. Getting involved in college can be life-changing. It opens doors for endless opportunities by connecting you to other students who are also getting out of their comfort zones to become better.”
