Coaching Staff

        Head Coach: Karl Hunt

Coach Hunt started his first year coaching in 2019 as the new head coach. Coach Hunt began his playing career here at Weber State from 2004-2008 where he played prop. After graduating from Weber State he pursued his Master's in Sports Management from Florida State University. While there he was the Florida State Men's Rugby Forwards Coach from 2014-2015. 

         Forwards Coach: Josh Griffin

An Alumni of Weber State, coach Josh Griffin did not have an opportunity to play rugby until after finishing his college education. He played for a short period with Antelope Island Rugby on the 7’s team as a prop and quickly moved into a coaching role when the team switched to the U23 division. Coach Griffin enjoys helping with youth rugby and bringing the sport to the community.

         Recruiting: Kelton Christensen

Coach Christensen played at Weber State from 2017-2020. During his time he was financial manager, recruiter, and president spread across 3 years of playing. He finished his senior year at the University of Utah 2021where he was also president and recruiter. Coach Christensen played one year for Utah Warrior Selects in the fall of 2021. HE eventually moved back to Ogden to take his position as assistant coach and recruiter for Weber State.
