This report will be used for auditing against the catalog and for consultation with departments. Discrepancies exist regarding how many hours are split between lecture/lab/other to arrive at the total contact hours. This report is based upon prefix and term for the following information: term, course subject, course number, course title, credit hours (low to high if variable), bill hours (low to high if variable), LEC hours (low to high if variable, lab hours (low to high if variable), level code, grades modes applied and the designated default, schedule types applied, and instructional methods applied.

Uses: Consulting, auditing against catalog, & scheduling efficiency
This report will have all the restrictions on the course listed. It is especially relevant for departments that use cohorts, but departments should be aware of the restrictions they have placed on their courses: degree, program of study, class, etc.

This report pulls a list of courses by prefix and term, which have prerequisite and corequisite information. It will audit the Banner fields against what is in the catalog and used for consulting with departments.

Uses: Consulting and auditing against CatTracks
This report lists all courses that have equivalent course(s) regardless of repeat details. Departments and the registrar’s office will be able to review data term by term by prefix since prefixes can change semester to semester.

Uses: Consulting and auditing against EMS
Crosslisting in the class schedule is used for managing enrollment on multiple sections put into a grouping. Currently, no approval process is in place. Curriculog defines crosslisting as two courses or program at the same time. Departments are using it for courses taught in the same space and time (scheduling.) Courses are also crosslisted at the 4000 (undergrad) and 6000 (graduate) level or courses that are a combo of levels (level 1, 2, and 3.) A handful of classes are sharing space rather than actually crosslisting. Sharing space can also cause an issue for transparency in faculty load. This report would be by prefix and allow a specific department to review all crosslisted courses by term.

Uses: Scheduling efficiency
This report would identify a link or connector entered incorrectly and remove waitlists, which should not be on linked courses. When departments who use linking encounter challenges with their sections, or students have registration issues, this report would be used to resolve issues.

Uses: Auditing and scheduling efficiency
This report would enable enforcing time limits on variable title, workshops, and experimental courses.

• Variable Titles: new subtitles must be approved through Curriculog (UCC step) at least two weeks before schedule deadline and three weeks before registration begins
• Workshops: only approved for two years
• Experimentals: only offered twice
