1.0    PURPOSE

This policy describes the University’s Intercollegiate Athletic Program and authorizes the creation of an advisory board.

2.0    POLICY
    
2.1    The Intercollegiate Athletic Program is carried on under the rules and regulations of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), those of the Big Sky Athletic Conference as well as those of the University. 

2.2    The President may direct the creation of aA University Athletic Advisory Board, as required by and in accordance with applicable rules, or as deemed advisable by the President.
