The R.A.D. System of Self-Defense

The mission of the R.A.D. Systems is to establish an accessible, constantly improving and internationally respected alliance of dedicated instructors. These instructors will in turn provide educational opportunities for women, children, men and seniors to create a safer future for themselves. In doing this, we challenge society to evolve into an existence where violence is not an acceptable part of daily life.

The R.A.D. Class at WSU

Weber State University offers the R.A.D. class free of charge.

This is a women-only course. This is not a martial arts course, it is a simple 12-hour self-defense course with simple-to-learn techniques. The 12 hours are broken down into 4 days of one 3-hour session per day. A small amount of the class time will be spent on definitions and safety tips, while the majority of time will be spent learning the physical self-defense techniques. The final session consists of a simulation exercise to test the skills you have learned in the course.

R.A.D. is the only existing program with a free lifetime return and practice policy, honored worldwide. Our instructors are nationally certified in the basic R.A.D. systems of self-defense for women.

R.A.D. is the only self-defense system to be endorsed by the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA), National Academy of Defense Education, the National Self-Defense Institute (NSDI), the Clery Act and Redman Training Gear.
