Patrol Division
The men and women of Weber State Police Department's patrol division are responsible for the safety and security of all WSU students, faculty, staff and property. Officers are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide police services and are responsible for the enforcement of all traffic laws and crimes at Weber State University.
Aside from day-to-day patrols, officers also police proactively utilizing community policing strategies. These strategies include crime prevention, teaching classes, foot patrol and bike patrol. We understand the role of a police officer is much more than just enforcing the law and includes being a positive influence within the university community. In that light, our motto is "Education First, Enforcement Second".
Officers know how important public safety is to current and prospective students, faculty and staff. It is with that in mind that we proudly carry out our daily duties to serve those who attend, work for, or visit Weber State University.
