parents
As a parent helping your child explore higher education opportunities, we know that costs and return on investment are important for you. Weber State University has a rising reputation for great return on investment. Here’s why:
Low Cost
We prioritize keeping tuition costs low: Our out-of-state tuition is often lower than in-state tuition in other states, while Utah’s strong job market gives our grads great opportunities.
Generous Aid
In 2022-23, we awarded over $90 million in financial aid to more than 12,000 students—not only making the cost even lower, but also making it possible for our students to graduate with little to no debt.
Are you a parent who is looking into earning your degree? We have child care, personalized tutoring, flexible courses to choose from and more.
Our Students
Among Weber State’s 30,000+ students, you’ll find certificate-seekers, undergraduates and master’s degree candidates. You’ll also find a varied population of local first-generation college students; high percentages of students who are married, have children, are working full time, commute to our campuses and centers, and receive financial aid; along with a growing number of out-of-state and international students. Today, we are proud to continue our legacy of opportunity, offering a quality education and personalized teaching at an affordable cost.
