Intro to Ice Climbing Day Trips

 Join us for an introductory day of ice climbing here in the Northern Wasatch in Ogden! We are offering 2 options for this program - each day is a separate introduction course, not two days that build on each other. At either session you will learn about equipment, planning, and technique. Don't miss this chance to develop your skills and climb beautiful sculptures of frozen water!

Intro Dates:  February 4, 2023 (7am - 1pm)

Location:  Meet on campus 7am (Outdoor Adventure and Welcome Center), climb at Willard Falls.

(Price per session) WSU Student:  $35 || WSU Faculty/Staff: $55 || General Public: $75

Skill Level:  No experience necessary!

Fitness Level:  Moderate

Age:  18+

Transportation: Transportation from the Outdoor Program is included in the cost of the trip.

Equipment Provided: Helmets, Ice tools, and crampons will be provided - YOU MUST RENT AND BRING YOUR OWN ICE CLIMBING BOOTS.  These can be rented from the WSU Outdoor Program Rental Shop, but are very limited, so reserve early, after you register!
