Bears Ears Backpacking - Fall Break 2024
Trip Dates: October 17-20, 2024
Location: Cedar Mesa, Utah

Student Price: $150 || WSU Faculty/Staff: $225 || General Public: $300
Skill Level: Beginner || Fitness Level: Moderate/Strenuous
Age: 18 and over only
Equipment Provided: Backpacking and camping equipment will be included. Participants will be responsible for bringing appropriate personal clothing, footwear, sun protection, toiletries, and other accessories (like a camera).
Food: All meals will be provided, except during travel to and from the trailhead from Ogden.
Transportation: Provided, departing from the WSU Outdoor Program
Details: Join us for an overnight backpacking trip in the breathtaking and historic Bears Ears Wilderness Area! We will camp comfortably, eat well, and spend each day finding a new camp along our route and trying to take in as much of the iconic desert landscape as possible. You should expect warm weather during the day and cool nights, but be prepared for anything!
*Mandatory pre-trip meeting will be held prior to the trip at the Outdoor Program (1352 Village Dr).
