Who is Leave No Trace? "The organization accomplishes its mission by providing innovative education, skills, research and science to help people care for the outdoors. By working with the public and those managing public lands, Leave No Trace focuses on educating people—instead of costly restoration programs or access restrictions—as the most effective and least resource-intensive solution to land protection."
The Outdoor Program supports leave no trace principles in all of our programming, but these programs (below) are designed to bring the best education to our local community as we care for all the incredible resources that Northern Utah has to offer!
LNT Winter Essentials
We love playing in the snow! But do we all know how to recreate in the winter with minimal impact to our natural resources? Sarah Tibbitts, the Utah State Advocate for LNT will be leading a discussion with us on ideas for best practices for our outdoor community as we enjoy the greatest snow on earth. Are you ready to take the next step in your winter trip preparations? For inquiries reach out to hayleyprine@weber.edu.
