Office of Sponsored Projects

The Office of Sponsored (OSP) Projects at Weber State University seeks to promote and maintain a research environment that fosters creativity, collaboration and community. The office reviews and authorizes proposals for submission and interprets, negotiates, and accepts grants and contracts for sponsored projects that are funded by federal and state agencies, foundations, and other public and private sources. The office oversees both pre- and post-award processes.

SmartGrant is a grants and contracts management software that Weber State University is implementing. The software has both pre- and post-award modules. Those who participate in grants and contracts will be able to use and interact with this software.
Pivot is a funding database tool that provides access to the most comprehensive global source of funding opportunities. All faculty and staff at Weber State have access to Pivot.
