Before the Weber Welcome
There are a few things you should do before coming to an event on campus, so you are ready for all the activities when you arrive.
Submit your official transcripts at least two weeks before orientation.
If you've completed any college work from any other school (including concurrent enrollment), submit a copy of your official transcripts to our Admissions office. Also, to receive credit for AP classes, bring your AP test scores and $10 to the Admissions office.
Need to figure out Financial Aid? Or talk to Admissions or Registrar’s?
Since you will already be on campus, consider bringing everything you need to speak with the different departments. This could be transcripts, financial records, legal documents, etc. Please call in advance to ensure the business hours are synchronous to their websites.
Complete the Safe@Weber training.
Because we take safety seriously, the university has purchased training materials that cover topics such as sexual assault, violence prevention, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, alcohol abuse and how to assist if you are a bystander. These materials are a guide for safe practices on and off campus, and we expect all students, faculty and staff to complete the training.
Weber State University, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, ensures equal access to all university functions, activities, and programs for individuals with disabilities. If you need any accommodations for a disability that hinders the completion of the New Student Orientation, please reach out to email@example.com for further assistance.
