Before the Weber Welcome

There are a few things you should do before coming to an event on campus, so you are ready for all the activities when you arrive.

Submit your official transcripts at least two weeks before orientation.
If you've completed any college work from any other school (including concurrent enrollment), submit a copy of your official transcripts to our Admissions office. Also, to receive credit for AP classes, bring your AP test scores and $10 to the Admissions office.

Need to figure out Financial Aid? Or talk to Admissions or Registrar’s?
Since you will already be on campus, consider bringing everything you need to speak with the different departments. This could be transcripts, financial records, legal documents, etc. Please note that most departments on campus hold regular business hours, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., so plan around your Weber Welcome.

Look over a campus map.
Parking is available in "W" lots with a temporary parking pass. Lots W7 or W8 parking will be closest.

Complete the Safe@Weber training.
Because we take safety seriously, the university has purchased training materials that cover topics such as sexual assault, violence prevention, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, alcohol abuse and how to assist if you are a bystander. These materials are a guide for safe practices on and off campus, and we expect all students, faculty and staff to complete the training.

Weber State University, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, ensures equal access to all university functions, activities, and programs for individuals with disabilities.  Please, contact Lyndsay Rich at at least one week prior to attending the Weber Welcome to request accommodations in relation to a disability.

What to Bring to the In-Person Experience

  • Please arrive early to check-in and take your Wildcard (student ID) picture! Arriving early will ensure that you don't miss out on any of the things we've planned for you.
  • Bring $10, your W number and a government-issued ID to get your Wildcard. We will issue Wildcards after the event.
  • You're expected to attend the entire event. We have planned out the day with your attendance in mind, so please plan to attend the entire five hours.
  • The event will be held in the Shepherd Union Ballrooms (with the exception of the Davis Campus session). View the campus map for exact locations.
