Direct Admissions FAQ

Don’t worry! Here’s what you need to know:

• All seniors are admitted through the direct admissions program throughout October. Most students will receive joint acceptance letters at this time.
• If you have yet to receive your letter by mid-November, you may have been missed or enrolled as a high school senior after Oct. 10. In this case, we encourage you to apply directly to Davis Technical College, Ogden-Weber Technical College or Weber State University.
• If you have any concerns or need assistance, contact the admissions office at your preferred institution. They can help you through the application process and answer any questions.

Upon completing the confirmation of interest form, students will select a specific program of study.

No. Direct admissions is for students in certain public high schools within our partner districts. Homeschooled students should follow the standard admissions process for each institution.

Scholarships & Financial Aid for Homeschooled Students

It means that you’ve been pre-approved for admission to both your regional university and technical colleges without needing to submit a regular application.

Yes! You’re welcome to explore the technical colleges and the university to find the best fit for you.

While you're admitted to the schools, some programs may have additional requirements or limited spots. Reach out to the admissions office for details on specific programs.
