About NUAHEC
The NUAHEC Medical Scholar Program is a 4 credit hour college course and experiential program that prepares students for transitioning from high school to college. Our program prepares and informs students about submitting applications to competitive college healthcare programs, and prepares them to find their place in our future healthcare workforce.
This future healthcare workforce will practice in a dynamic, ever-changing healthcare system that is being transformed by lower costs, enhanced quality, improved satisfaction of healthcare professionals and improved population health outcomes.
Our primary focus is assisting students on their successful journey to their carefully chosen healthcare careers.
Upon completion, you’ll receive a letter of accomplishment from the dean of the Dumke College of Health Professions and the Director of the Northern Utah Area Health Education Center and certificate of completion and a graduation medal.
