Nontrad Center Peer Mentor

$10 per hour/20 hours per week

Support new and continuing nontrade students in their educational journey, including all enrollment processes, navigating of campus and community resources, and support them through pitfalls, both personally and academically. Seeking students with strong interpersonal skills, in-depth knowledge about campus, patience, and compassion for others, and a desire to support students to succeed.

Student Support Assistant

Provide coverage for front desk, answer phones, data entry, filing, customer service, referral to other departments, tour of center, and computer lab assistants. Seeking individuals with strong communication skills who are organized, take initiative, and enjoy helping others.

Nontrad Center Public Relations Representative

Work-study preferred(FAFSA)
Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, Senior

$10 per hour/20 hours per week

Create and develop outreach strategies to promote the Nontrad Center’s Services and Programs. Manage social media campaigns, oversee outreach committee, plan tabling events, meet with academic and student support services departments. Seeking individual who is outgoing, friendly creative, strong leader, and wants to develop and grow the center.

Childcare Teacher

Hourly(Work-study preferred - FAFSA)
Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, Senior

$10 per hour/hours vary

Provide care to children ages 2-9 years old, develop and teach lesson plans, prepare snacks, oversee safety and health of children, organize play time, reading time, and outside time. Seeking individuals who are caring, nurturing, patient, good communicator, outgoing and friendly, and who have a desire to help children grow and reach their potential.

Outreach Committee

The committee opportunities include working with faculty and staff, providing outreach to campus departments, representing the center at tabling events (fairs, booths, etc), and planning activities for the nontrad students

Nontraditional Student Senator

WSUSA Senator
Tuition Waiver( check SIL for amount)

Represent the voice of the nontraditional student population at Weber State University, and serve on the WSUSA Senate.
