Master of Science in Radiologic Sciences

The Master of Science in Radiologic Sciences (MSRS) program offered in the Dr. Ezekiel R. Dumke College of Health Professions provides medical imaging professionals with opportunities to stand out in areas of management, education, research, advanced practice, MSK diagnostic ultrasound, radiology nursing, and more!

Designed to enhance the advanced radiologic sciences professional through self-development and critical-thinking skills, the program is intended to increase productivity and improve patient communication and radiologic care. Weber State University's MSRS program is currently the only one in the state of Utah and one of few in the nation.

We offer three separate emphasis programs to meet your education goals and professional aspirations and a NEW Post-Master's Certificate in Advanced Pediatric Imaging. 


MSRS Innovation and Improvement                            


As of fall 2023, students can complete the Innovation and Improvement emphasis with no on-campus visits required. All courses are delivered in a VIRTUAL format. Scheduled classes are held once a month on Zoom in the daytime.

Applications for Spring 2025 semester enrollment will open in October.


Cardiac Specialist  


Applications for Fall 2025 semester enrollment will open November 1. 

The application deadline is May 1 for priority acceptance. Applications submitted after this date will still be considered.


Radiologist Assistant (RA)

Applications for Fall 2025 semester enrollment will open November 1.

The application deadline is May 1 for priority acceptance. Applications submitted after this date will still be considered.

Preceptors must be identified by July 1, or enrollment will be deferred to the following year.
