Master of Science in Athletic Training

The MSAT program is specifically designed for students who possess a bachelor’s degree in a related allied health or exercise science area. However, students with a bachelor’s degree in any field could enter the program after completing the required prerequisite coursework. For WSU students, the recommended undergraduate major is Rehabilitation Sciences.

The program provides students with knowledge and skills in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and general medical conditions. It is also designed to prepare them for careers in allied health care as certified athletic trainers.

In addition to WSU's Regional Accreditation, our program is accredited by the appropriate specialty accreditor.
