Teaching Philosophy / Pädagogischer Ansatz
- Knowledge and insight frequently happen between the cracks. Thinking in fragments/fractals = thinking out of the box. It is always incomplete!

Intellectual gain tends to be proportional to effort. The more time you spend on a particular project, the more likely it is that you will have greater returns and learn something of value. In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, one of America's favorite philosophers: "No pain, no gain." Auf gut Deutsch: "Ohne Fleiss, kein Preis!"
Dear Students: Please access and navigate (y)our courses from the WSU Canvas page. While all of my courses are listed and detailed below, I am no longer in a position to update them regularly on this site. The most current information regarding the readings and assignments for our classes is visible only on Canvas. The actual WebPals, by contrast, are accessible only from this site and should be used to complement your assignments and readings, if appropriate. I will say more about this when we meet. Thank you.
