MHA Students Selected to Compete in National Case Competition
Weber State students competed in the annual Health Administrative Services Case Competition in November 2023 at the Weber State Farmington Station campus.
During this competition, both undergraduate health administration and Master of Health Administration students come together to create innovative solutions to real-world health issues. The competition provides an opportunity for students to engage with prominent healthcare industry leaders, who serve as judges. After each presentation, students receive valuable feedback and guidance from the judges, creating a rich environment for learning and competition.
The Master of Health Administration winning team consisted of Megan Lombardi, Savannah Coburn and Sydney Moore.
Additionally, judges selected an all-star team that represented Weber State at the National Case Competition at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in February 2024. Students picked for the all-star team were Savannah Coburn, Sydney Moore and Matthew Hales (pictured with faculty members Dr. Cory Moss and Professor and Executive in Residence Steve Bateman). These students competed against highlevel programs nationwide and reached the second round of the competition.
