Metaphor Editors' Conference

The editors of Metaphor invite high school students to participate in our annual Metaphor Editors' Conference (MEC) held each spring. Prior to the event, we host a writing contest for students to compete and win cash prizes. During the conference, we host a variety of courses to give students the opportunity to learn more about literary editing, writing and publishing at the collegiate level and beyond. We also host an open mic and a luncheon at the event.
