WSU Medical Academy
June 5th - June 8th, 2024 for Ages 15+
Dr. Ezekiel R. Dumke Family Pre-Medical Professional Program and the WSU American Medical Student Association present the WSU Summer Medical Academy. Designed for high school juniors and seniors, the WSU Medical Academy will help students determine if a career in the healthcare industry is right for them. They will learn how to best prepare for admission to professional schools and make the most of their college experience by WSU student mentors. WSU faculty members will lead discussions and hands-on laboratory activities. Attendees will explore the benefits of a clinical career with local healthcare professionals and patients who have experienced their expert care. Participating in the Medical Academy Summer Camp will provide invaluable opportunities to network with WSU professors and other professional specialists that will aid them in their professional endeavors. Discount available for early registration! Participants will receive a t-shirt, lodging, meals, and supplies for labs at no additional costs.
Registration is available at a discount of $300 for all activities, swag, lodging, meals, and supplies for labs. After May 5th, registration costs $325. Cancellations thereafter will result in a forfeiture of 50% of the cost ( $150 or $162.50, depending on when you paid).
