Studying Health Promotion at Weber State

Weber State’s health promotion program prepares outgoing students who want to help others improve their health and quality of life for a wide range of health and wellness careers.

Health Promotion Highlights

At Weber State, you can earn your health promotion degree either on campus or completely through distance learning, which consists of online and/or independent study courses.

Upon completion of this program, you can sit for the Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) exam offered by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC).

Beyond the Classroom

Health promotion students gain real-world experience in internships with medical clinics, non-profit organizations, fitness centers, schools and more.
