German Highlights

Weber State’s German program is almost entirely proficiency-driven, and you will have the chance to learn from professors with a variety of research interests and united by their extensive training in how to help you develop the reading, writing and speaking skills you need to excel in a German-speaking future.

Beyond the Classroom

In Weber State’s German program, you will have the opportunity to exercise your German skills in the German Club, during internships or on study abroad trips.

Through courses in literature, culture, linguistics and language for professional purposes, you will be prepared to function effectively in a German-speaking environment. We also offer a commercial emphasis if you are pursuing a business career.

What You CAN DO After Weber

Weber State’s German major graduates have gone on to careers in international business, government, journalism, law enforcement, social work, translating and interpreting, and teaching, as well as to law school, medical school and other graduate programs.
