Studying Dental Hygiene at Weber State
Weber State’s dental hygiene major teaches students who love science and working with others the skills to work side-by-side with dentists and educate patients to practice healthy habits.
Dental Hygiene Highlights
As a dental hygiene major, you’ll gain experience working with the latest technology utilized by professionals in the field in the classroom and in WSU’s on-site dental clinic.
The program is involved with the American Dental Hygienists Association, with a nationally recognized active student chapter, and faculty who have served on national ADHA committees and boards.
Beyond the Classroom
While completing your bachelor’s degree, you’ll gain experience by working with patients and faculty at local clinics along with Weber State’s on-campus clinic.
You can study abroad in China to learn about the country’s culture, history and medical practices, or join another study abroad program.
Weber State’s ADHA student chapter give you opportunities to meet your peers and participate in networking opportunities and events.
