Greta deJong is the founder (1982) and editor of CATALYST (catalystmagazine.net), a magazine with award-winning coverage of environmental issues, wellness and holistic living. She is also the director of CATALYST’s two annual events, the Clean Air Solutions Fair and Bee Fest.
deJong is a recipient of University of Utah’s Service to Journalism award (youngest and first female awardee), KRCL’s Stephen Holbrook Visionary Award and the Society of Professional Journalists’ Josephine Zimmerman Pioneer in Journalism award. She is on the board of Slow Food Utah and the Utah Recycling Alliance.
