At the time of your Capstone Project defense, your three faculty members will be assessing your progress from the time of your prospectus until your project is complete. Specific components that will be assessed include performance in six areas: (a) Interdisciplinary Work; (b) The Capstone Project Experience/Report; (c) Knowledge, Skills, and Research Base; (d) Methods or Creativity, (e) Analysis/Results/Conclusions, and/or Product; and (f) Grammar, Syntax, and Mechanics.
We have attached these Capstone Scoring Rubrics to better help you in preparing not only for your defense but to assist you in producing a quality capstone project in helping you know student expectations from the beginning.
