Human Trafficking & Exploitation Symposium

Policies, Prevention and Procedures

The 2024 Human Trafficking and Exploitation Symposium at Weber State University addressed human trafficking and other forms of exploitation, such as sextortion and internet grooming. It highlighted risk factors for victimization, prevention strategies and reporting processes. Community partners were available on site to support attendees and share resources. The symposium raised awareness and brought together community stakeholders to invoke change around human trafficking and sexploitation in the state of Utah.
