Departmental Honors

The Department of Health, Physical Education & Recreation rewards students who achieve academic success with departmental honors.

Recognition

Students earning departmental honors are recognized with:

  • Honors indicated on transcript and degree diploma.
  • Invitations to Honors Program social and educational events.
  • Invitation to the Honors Nye Banquet upon graduation.
  • Honors distinction (a cord, medallion, or pin) for graduation ceremony.

How to Apply

Every HPER program has different requirements for earning departmental honors.
