WSU Housing Meal Plans
Students may request a change to any of the resident dining meal plans for the first two weeks of the semester, after which students may submit a request to upgrade their meal plan only

Wildcat Experience | 9 | $625 | $2,330 |
This is a great plan for students that are looking for the full Wildcat Experience and like to meet with their friends in the Residence Halls throughout the week and enjoy variety. Seven evening meals, weekend brunches, and $625 dining dollars to spend at our campus restaurants and convenience stores throughout the week. That’s almost $8 per day five days a week. Meals expire each week. Recommended for: 1st Semester Freshman learning about campus life |

This plan provides for the student’s bare basic dining needs. This meal plan will provide seven meal swipes to use throughout the week and $375 to spend for breakfast or lunch options Monday – Friday. That’s $4.69 per day. Meals expire each week. Recommended for: Seasoned college student |
Additional Dining Dollars can be purchased to supplement your meal plan by going to the information desk in the Student Union or going to Sodexo My Way. We accommodate medically necessary dietary needs. Please contact Disability Services for more information.
How do I choose a meal plan?
After we complete room assignments, we will send out meal plan selection information. Selecting a meal plan is easy. The meal plan application (selection form) will be available on your Residence portal main page. You just have to click the “Get Started” button, indicate which meal plan you want, and click “Submit.”
- All students assigned to Wildcat Village must choose a meal plan.
- Residents assigned to University Village have the OPTION to select a meal plan.
If you are required to have a meal plan but don’t choose one, we will assign the Weber Basic meal plan to you as a default. Students can request changes to their meal plan for approximately the first two weeks of the semester. After the meal plan change process ends, students may only request to upgrade their meal plan.
Watch for meal plan change notices in your WSU email account and on the digital signage locations in Housing buildings.
Students are allotted one meal swipe per meal period. The meal periods are as follows:
- Monday - Friday:
- Breakfast: 7 a.m. - 10 a.m.
- Lunch: 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Dinner: 4:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.
- Saturday - Sunday:
- Brunch: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Dinner: 4:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
