Math and English Requirements

Students seeking a bachelor’s or associate’s degree at Weber State University must, as part of their degree, complete General Education requirements, which include math (quantitative literacy) and English (composition).

There are multiple paths you can take to satisfy the Quantitative Literacy (QL) math requirement. Those paths can be found on the Weber State Placement website.

The Dumke College of Health Professions Office of Admissions Advisement recommends taking math and English courses your first semester at WSU and continuing each semester until your general education requirement is complete. You can find your math and English placements in CatTracks.

For math and English placement testing and information, visit the Weber State Placement website.
