College of Health Professions Admissions Advisement
The Dumke College of Health Professions Office of Admissions Advisement is a fundamental resource as you prepare for your Weber State University health professions program.
Our excellent advisors will help you build your plan to get accepted into your program of choice and succeed in healthcare. In addition, you will receive important information regarding degree programs, classes, prerequisite requirements, applications and deadlines.
Most programs within the College of Health Professions have their own application process, and acceptance into Weber State does not guarantee specific program admission in our college.
Application deadlines and requirements vary by program and admission is competitive.

Pre-Professional Programs
The Office of Admissions Advisement also advises students pursuing a pre-medical, pre-physician assistant or pre-professional program.
It is important to understand there is no "pre-medical" major at any college or university. Rather, you pick a major in any discipline and include the courses that medical schools require (such as anatomy and physiology) in your undergraduate studies.
For more information on pre-professional pathways, email one of our academic advisors.
