In high school, I began taking programming and web development classes. I became enthralled with learning as much about computers and technology as possible. The Goddard School of Business MIS degree caught my interest because it offered a comprehensive approach to understanding technology and business practices all in one degree.

I chose MIS as a major because it offered a comprehensive environment to understand how vital information systems are for businesses to succeed in our technologically advanced society. With this degree, there are endless options for career paths, and you aren't stuck in a limited box of programming or web development. There are so many options available that I would not have considered before exploring this degree.

So many professors have inspired me to further my goals and have helped me succeed in my academic career. Dr. Boyle and Professor Koop genuinely care about seeing their students succeed both inside the classroom and in future career prospects.
