2 APPLICATION TYPES
university general applications & special applications

The Goddard School of Business & Economics has a variety of private scholarships available to continuing juniors and seniors with declared majors in the Goddard School. Goddard School scholarships are created through the generosity of private donors and corporations who contribute the private funds for these awards. Award criteria for sponsored scholarships are developed in consultation with the donors. Check out the available scholarships. (If you're interested in master scholarships, please contact the respective master program for further information.)

NOTE:

1. Scholarships are awarded in the Spring of each year for the following academic year (Fall, Spring, Summer).
2. You must apply each year to be considered.

3. The scholarship priority deadline is the FIRST FRIDAY in DECEMBER of each year.

  • GENERAL UNIVERSITY APPLICATIONS

ALL Goddard School Scholarships require you to complete Weber State University's Specialized Scholarship application for the year of issue.

The Goddard School Scholarships that don't require any extra application processing will be awarded from the pool of applicants by the School from the University Application system. You don't need to specify a Scholarship to be considered!

    Graduate Programs
These are awarded through each individual Master Degree Program.  For more information, visit the respective program.

    APPLY

  • MAJOR SPECIFIC & SPECIAL APPLICATIONS

HOW TO APPLY
three easy steps

  • STEP 1 - APPLICATION

All students receiving federal or state funds MUST fill out an online WSU specialized scholarship application EVERY YEAR. It is generic information and only takes about 10 minutes to complete.

    COMPLETE APPLICATION

  • STEP 2 - FAFSA

Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Completing a FAFSA application allows students to be eligible for subsidized school loans (at lower interest rates) and also gives them a "need" rating which is important for private scholarship opportunities. Don't let the word "need" throw you - the government has goofy formulas and you honestly will not know if you qualify for a private financial-need scholarship unless you fill out the FAFSA. And there are lots of private scholarships out there to be had if you only fill out the form!

    COMPLETE FAFSA

  • STEP 3 - WAIT FOR REPLY

Wait to be contacted regarding scholarship awards. If additional information or items are needed, you will be contacted directly and given an opportunity to provide that for further consideration.  Most scholarships are awarded and contacted over the summer; however, a few privately funded scholarships are not awarded until August.
