Why major in international business economics at Weber State?
The International Business Economics program is intended for business and economics majors who are strongly interested in working for a multinational business organization or in employment outside of the United States. Apart from building strong foundations in all business disciplines, the program is designed to provide students with study abroad and professional experiences that are complemented with foreign language skills. This is Utah's first bachelor's degree in business to include a language requirement and study abroad opportunities, in addition to a full business curriculum.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN
in the international business economics program?
You'll learn skills such as: tabulating and manipulating data/data analysis, research and analysis, finding and testing relationships, applying statistical methods and testing hypothesis, communication skills in English and a foreign language, understanding and interpreting relationships between economic indicators, and international and development economics and economic growth. You'll also have opportunities to have hands-on experiences like: conducting comprehensive research with direct faculty interaction, opportunities to publish and present your work at conferences like: Utah Conference on Undergraduate Research and National Conference on Undergraduate Research.
