WHY WEBER STATE?

I came to Weber State on a scholarship to run on the cross country and track team, which I’m grateful for and for the opportunities it gave me. But I came to realize that the academics here at Weber State were by far my favorite part.

WHY LEADERSHIP?

---

Majoring in Psychology, I was looking at different fields and was especially drawn to Industrial Organizational Psychology … Business Psychology.  I was looking for minors to compliment this and found the Leadership Minor with GSBE. It’s been a great resource for me and has prepped me for my career.

APPLICABLE TO LIFE

I've loved everything about my Leadership classes  - they are very applicable, not just to business but to life in general, relationships, and people…which is really what business is all about.

The class material was engaging and the professors very much care about the students and their growth and development.

Bryant Thompson, Jennifer Anderson, and Michael Stevens were all great mentors for me and believed in me.

ADVICE

Get involved! Engage in course content, with your peers, and with your professors. You’ll find you’ll get way more meaning and enjoyment out of what you’re doing and will be better able to pinpoint the area you’ll enjoy.
