ABOUT
Hugo DeCampos is an assistant professor of supply chain management at Weber State University. After spending 10 years in the automotive industry in progressively higher levels of responsibility in supply chain management functions ( eg. international logistics analyst, materials management supervisor, buyer, purchasing manager and purchasing director), he switched his career focus to academia.
DeCampos earned a Ph.D. in operations and sourcing management from Michigan State University and has held previous academic positions at Wayne State University and The University of Central Oklahoma. He has taught supply chain students of all levels from undergrad to executive education and has even designed and led international study abroad courses to Brazil on supply chain sustainability. Having lived and worked in three countries during his life (USA, Brazil and China), DeCampos is passionate about bringing his multicultural and professional background into the classroom to help prepare the next generation of supply chain leaders.
