WHY MASTER OF ACCOUNTING?

I wanted to go into auditing, and to do that you need a CPA license. I knew the Master of Accounting would best prep me for my career and the CPA exam.

CAREER PREPARATION

The professors are great and Weber State is a solid choice financially. I never felt like my education was less valuable. I feel very prepared for my career. I have been working in accounting - I work for a CPA firm right now.

James Hansen, Darcie Costello, and Ryan Pace were all awesome.

 

ADVICE

---

Don't take 15 credit hours while working! I work 2 days per week and with 15 credit hours it has been kind of rough. But in the end I'm glad I'll be done. 
 

WHAT'S NEXT?

I've taken the audit portion of the CPA exam and passed it. I'll be starting full time at Squire & Co. in their auditing department, and doing my CPA exams this summer and possibly into the fall.
