Equity in Access Departments
College Access & First Year Transition
We offer underrepresented students additional assistance with access to higher education. Then we help them transition into higher education.
Money Management Center
We offer WSU students free financial coaching and free help completing FAFSA. The center also offers resources and help with basic needs.

Ogden GEAR UP
We strive to help students succeed in high school and prepare for college by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and the desire to aspire higher.
State GEAR UP
We strive to help students succeed in high school and prepare for college by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and the desire to aspire higher.
Upward Bound
We provide services and activities for eligible 13- to 18-year-old students, to develop academic skills to gain entry into and graduate from higher education.
Veterans Services
We help veteran students with VA eligibility, admissions, registration, paying for education, and resources for veterans and family members.
Veterans Upward Bound
We help eligible veterans achieve success in schooling beyond high school, including GED attainment for the purpose of entering a postsecondary institution.
Men of Color
The Men of Color student organization is focused on creating a space and community on campus where WSU students who identify as men of color can gather, discuss issues related to academic success and career attainment, engage in meaningful activities, tap into important resources on and off-campus, and gain lasting friendships.
