Starting a Brave Discussion: Finding Empathy and Common Ground in a Time of Global Acts of Violence. 

Join the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Office for events and programming happening Spring 2024.

The goals of the speaker series are as follows: 

  1. Curate a speaker series that would increase awareness, understanding, and empathy on global issues and acts of violence that impacts campus climate;

  2. Provide opportunities for students, staff, and faculty to discuss global acts of violence through a dignity lens; and

  3. Model in practice how to support free speech while dignifying political/social topics and conflict.
