Chief Mike Slater started his fire service career in 1997 as a reservist for Ogden Fire. During his career he has served as a Paramedic, SWAT Medic, Hazardous Materials Captain, Station #1 Captain, Battalion Chief, and currently serves as the Deputy Fire Chief of Ogden City. Chief Slater lives in Weber County with his wife and kids. They enjoy the outdoors and spend their time boating, riding UTV’s, or fishing.
